Celebrate Black History Month with Storyteller Diane Ferlatte

February is Black History Month, a time to honor and celebrate the rich heritage, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history.
This year, we are proud to present internationally renowned storyteller Diane Ferlatte in several Hawaii public libraries from February 21 to 25, 2024. With her captivating storytelling style, Diane Ferlatte brings to life the vibrant narratives and rich traditions of African American culture. She will share stories from the earliest days of slavery to the present day, including songs, American Sign Language, humor, and audience participation. Suitable for ages 5+.
