The Hawaii State Public Library System provides Bookmobiles to ensure that residents of Hawaii have access to public library materials and services. HSPLS operates two bookmobiles. It’s a fun and effective way to reach those who cannot travel to their public library.

Maui Holoholo Bookmobile

The Maui Holoholo Bookmobile supports the lifelong learning needs of the Maui community by providing equal access to library materials and services. Based out of Wailuku Public Library, we nurture a lifelong love of reading and learning and serve as an extension of the Hawaii State Public Library System.

The Bookmobile offers books for all ages, DVDs, audiobooks, storytimes, free Wi-Fi, and assistance with finding information and navigating eResources. Items borrowed on the Bookmobile may be returned to any public library within the Hawaii State Public Library System.

Maui’s Holoholo Bookmobile will provide service on Thursdays at the following West Maui locations.

• Hyatt Regency Maui (back parking lot) from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
• Whaler’s Village (parking garage) from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
