Lihue Public Library, in partnership with the National Archives and the Hawaii Council for the Humanities, presents The Bill of Rights and You a new pop-up exhibit commemorating the 225th Anniversary of the Bill of Rights. It explores the origins of the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution and looks at how Americans exercise the rights outlined in the amendments. The exhibit invites viewers to connect directly with the people, places, and events that mark this historic document’s evolution. You can visit The Bill of Rights and You at Lihue Public Library January 18 – February 28 during the library’s open hours: Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00am to 7:00pm, and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00am to 4:30 pm.
