Join us at the Waialua Public Library for our annual Summer Reading Program Finale, with pizza and a special performance featuring the magic and origami of Yasu Ishida! Refreshments will be provided after the program. All ages welcome.
Yasu Ishida is an award winning magician, director, and performer. After graduating the Chavez Studio of Magic, which is the most prestigious magic school in the world, he has been performing in and directing shows at locations from Disney Summer Stage Kids in New York to Honolulu Theatre for Youth (HTY). He is the creator/director of Rock’n the Holidays with Rakugo!, a production incorporating Japanese Rakugo & Kamishibai storytelling styles with Origami and magic tricks, at HTY. He is also a regular storyteller at Honolulu Talkstory Festival, which is the longest running annual storytelling festival in Hawaii.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
