Sum of a Beach/Science @ Your Library Series

July 16, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Kauai beach

Where does your beach go every season?  Why are different beaches so…different?  What is beach sand made of? (Not what you think it is!)  And how do we use the answers to these questions to preserve the beach experience on our island?  Join us to learn the latest science about Hawaii beaches as Kauai resident and earth scientist Dr. Chuck Blay answers these questions and lots more in an upcoming Science @ Your Library program.

All programs are subject to change. If your require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
