Saving the Jewels of the Forest with Dr. Lisa “Cali” Crampton

Kauai’s forest birds evolved into a tremendously diverse and spectacular assemblage of bird species.  However, invasive plants, predators, avian diseases as well as climate change threaten their precarious existence.  In this lecture, Dr. Cali Crampton, scientist with the Kauai Forest Bird Recovery Project will discuss evolution, endangerment, and conservation of these “jewels of the forest”.
