Obake & Other Ghostly Tales with Storyteller Dann Seki

Hawaii storyteller Dann Seki will share some of his favorite Obake  (Japanese folklore with creatures) and other ghost stories. A storyteller since 1994, Dann has performed statewide at various public libraries, senior centers, and storytelling festivals. He is also a stage and screen actor.

This free 45-minute is suitable for preschoolers and lower elementary students. Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

This program is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with funding provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
