All poets and poetry lovers are invited!

The prompts for October are “Poet’s Choice” or a “From a Bird’s Eye” . Please bring 10 copies of your poem or poems to share and writing materials and join us in the Conference Room.
   The LPS Student Poem Contest (grades 5-12) is well underway. Poems must be submitted to Lihue Library no later than closing time on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. A public reading by LPS members and student winners, as well as the Student Awards Ceremony, is planned for Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 5:00pm at Lihue Public Library.
