All public libraries and support offices will be closed in observance of the following 2024 state holidays:

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – Monday, January 15
Libraries that are normally closed on Mondays will be closed to observe the holiday on Tuesday, January 16.

Presidents’ Day – Saturday through Monday, February 17 to 19

Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole Day – Tuesday, March 26

Good Friday – Friday, March 29
Libraries that are normally open on Sundays will also be closed to observe Easter Sunday, March 31.

Memorial Day – Saturday through Monday, May 25 to 27

King Kamehameha Day – Tuesday, June 11

Independence Day – Thursday, July 4

Statehood Day – Friday, August 16

Labor Day – Saturday through Monday, August 31 to September 2

General Election Day – Tuesday, November 5

Veterans Day – Monday, November 11
Libraries that are normally closed on Mondays will be closed to observe the holiday on Tuesday, November 12.

Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 28

Christmas Day – Wednesday, December 25

New Year’s Day – Wednesday, January 1, 2025
