This free one-hour multimedia presentation will explore how mosquito-borne infections affect our health and the economy, and what can be done about it. Presenter Rachel Heckscher will talk about the Zika virus and its impact, from birth defects to nerve, heart, and eye damage, as well as giving information on how to “zap” Zika.
Ms. Heckscher has a Masters in Health degree and has worked as a health educator in infectious disease for 15 years.
