When Life Gives You Lemons (and how to cook with them)

March 4, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

a lemon beside half a lemon

Come join Susan Collins for this special event about the wondrous
lemon! They grow abundantly on the Big Island, so how can we use
them? We will be looking at the health benefits of consuming lemons
and how to use them daily in our cooking, baking, and drinks.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own lemon creation. All
participants will receive free lemons and a chance to sample various
lemon dishes and drinks.

All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or communication due to
a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
