The Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affair (DCCA), will provide information on how to navigate the landscape of utility assistance programs. Valerie Trujillo, an Education Specialist with the Division of Consumer Advocacy (DCA), will discuss available resources that can effectively reduce utility expenses. The focus of this presentation will be to empowering attendees with the knowledge and tools to access these programs, navigate through options, and ultimately give attendees the knowledge of how to alleviate the financial burden of utility bills.

They work alongside regulatory bodies and utility companies aiming to review applications, maintain fair rates, and ensure the safety and reliability of utility services.

Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
