‘Ukulele!

June 9, 2018 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Three ukuleles of differing wood colors
Libraries rock, and so does the ‘ukulele!  We know and love the ‘ukulele for the way it raises our spirits and is forgiving of beginners who are just learning to play.  Join us for a presentation by the ‘Ukulele Guild of Hawaii and learn how ‘ukuleles are made!  View examples of ‘ukuleles in different stages of construction and hear a couple of songs as well!
Originally founded in 2001 by experienced craftsmen, the Guild has evolved beyond building high quality ‘ukulele and has embraced the concept of Kanikapila–making music together.  Visit the ‘Ukulele Guild of Hawaii at the library and experience the fun of this entertaining instrument!
Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
