The Art of Taiko with Kenny Endo

“Art of Taiko with Kenny Endo” is a lecture/demonstration on the art of performing with taiko (Japanese drums). This unique cultural and educational program introduces drums and percussion instruments of Japan as used in traditional and contemporary music. The taiko is boundless in its expression.

The lecture and demonstration will be held in the Hawaii State Library Front Lobby.

This program is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with funding provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
