PROGRAM CANCELLED – Teen & Adult Sewing Program: Sashiko

Sashiko is a type of Japanese embroidery literally meaning “little stab” or “little pierce.” Created as a practical means to reinforce worn parts of clothing with mostly geometric patterns. Join us for this hands-on learning class. Note: this is not a beginning sewing class.

This 1.5-hour program is suitable for teens and up and is limited to the first 8 patrons. All materials will be provided. Program sponsored by Friends of the Libraries, Kona.

Program size is limited. RSVP is required. RSVP online for this event by selecting the RSVP function. Reservation period will close on March 16th, while availability lasts. Please call the library (808-323-7585) or visit if reservation assistance is needed.
