Every second Tuesday afternoon from 3-4:30 p.m., children ages 5-11 are invited to actively study and work on homework assignments in the Study Room, the air conditioned library auditorium. Parents and guardians may tag along to help with assignments, but younger siblings will be more comfortable in the Children’s Room. Long clean tables are available for collaborating on and creating big projects, and there’s WIFI connection for your device with a valid Hawaii State Public Library System library card. Food and beverages will be allowed so bring your own snacks and water bottle; water will also be available. Call the library at 832-3466 to sign up for 1 of 10 spaces.
If you require an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please call 832-3466 at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events
This free event is a joint project of the Kalihi Kai Elementary School Robotics Club and the Friends of Kalihi-Palama Public Library.
