This summer’s sewing program will be a Japanese Knot Bag taught by Robyn Lea’ Sayre.
There will only be enough time to complete one tote per person.
This bag is reversible, so you can choose to use two different prints/solids or use the same fabric for inside and out.
With that said, you need 2 yards of 45” fabric. 1 yard for the outside, 1 yard for the lining. Robyn will supply the batting and interfacing needed.
Please call the library to reserve your seat.
The early session will be on Monday, June 17th from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
The later session will be on Monday, June 17th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Participants must already have sewing machine experience.
This is not a beginner class.
Donation fabric available, if needed. Please let us know if you are interested in viewing our donated fabric upon registering for the class.
We are making appointments to select and prep fabric before the sewing class on Thursday, June 13th 1pm to 2pm or 2pm to 3pm or 3pm to 4pm.
Sewing machines and supplies will be provided.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
