Sew Simple: Pillowcases

Learn to sew a pillowcase using the “burrito” method. Friends of the Kapaa Public Library and Kauai Makerspace are supplying everything you need to make your pillowcase, including sewing machines, notions and fabric. You are also welcome to bring your own fabric and/or sewing machine to the class if you prefer.
Due to space limitations, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. There will be 2 sewing sessions: 6pm and 6:45pm with instructor Maile Bloxsom. Free to the public. Skill level: Must be able to thread a sewing machine and wind a bobbin. Please call or sign up at the library for more information or to register for this class.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library at least 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
