Join visiting teaching artists from Hui No’eau Visual Art Center on Maui, for a fun & unique arts experience.

Students will observe a variety of seashells and explore different forms of line making. After creating a drawing of a shell using simple linework, students will use the drawing to create a 3D version of the seashell with colorful sticks of wax. Artists will then have an opportunity to create a colorful background for their ocean treasures with tempura sticks.
Please join us for this fun and colorful project exploring 2D and3Dshapes and lines through the study of seashells!
