S.M.A.R.T. is an adults-only one-hour arts & crafts workshop that features reusing and repurposing donated recyclables into functional and decorative items. We have altered cigar boxes; bound coffee sleeves and CDs into mini books; decorated composition books with washi tape; and made pins from aluminum beverage cans. Every month is a new adventure in arts, crafts, and recycling. Some possibilities this year include vintage junk journal, glue book, book sculpture, travel journal, book jewelry, card making and our annual mini calendar. Program size is limited. Sign up by calling the library at 832-3466 or stopping by the Information Desk starting on the first working day of the previous month.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
