After being closed for renovation in 2022, our library is delighted to be fully reopen to the public again! Please come celebrate with us and check out our refreshed space. Guests of honor include Senate President Ronald D. Kouchi, State Librarian Stacey A. Aldrich, Reverend Kohtoku Hirao (Waimea Shingon Mission), Pastor Olaf Hoeckmann-Percival (Waimea United Church of Christ), and Tsunami Taiko. Cake and ice cream will be served on the library’s front lawn following the taiko performance.
We will also celebrate the end of our 2023 Summer Reading Challenge and keiki are welcome to select a free book to add to their home library.
