Read Across America!

March 4, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

Dr. Seuss juggling things with a quote "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."

Celebrate the Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a Read Aloud by students of the University of Hawaiʻi West Oahu, Student National Education Association.  In addition to read-alouds, keiki are encouraged to participate in fun arts and crafts projects and games.  NEA’s Read Across America Day is the largest nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on or near Dr. Seuss’s birthday.

If a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed, notify library staff 2 weeks prior to the event/
