Push On: My Walk to Recovery on the Appalachian Trail

April 12, 2017 @ 4:45 pm - 6:00 pm

Niki Rellon

When extreme athlete Niki Rellon fell 45 feet from the side of a Utah canyon in 2013 she thought she was going to die. She survived thanks to her physical fitness, but doctors told her that the devastating injuries she suffered would likely put an end to her thrill-seeking outdoor lifestyle. But Niki is tougher than most.

Hear from Niki about her inspiring story of survival, recovery and how she became the first woman to hike the entire 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail on a prosthetic leg.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
