Inspired by the rich culture and history of the Moanalua ahupua’ (land division), local artist/author Patrick Ching painted Moanalua Memories (acrylic on canvas, 1999) displayed around the atrium of Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library.

Patrick is now the host of the Painting in Paradise TV show on Spectrum oc16tv. He travels creating art and teaching folks about painting and natural history.
