Have something in common with your teen; read a book together and enjoy laughing, discussing and thinking about books? The Library is hosting Book Club Hub: a Parent Teen Book Club that will create a forum for parents and students to read together.
The Teen Librarian will facilitate the book discussion and lead participants in activities and conversations about selected titles. The is a great opportunity to communicate with your tween/teen as she/he moves forward in becoming a lifelong reader.

All of these titles are available in the library system both in print and in e-book format. Several copies will be at Pearl City Public Library reference desk one month prior to each session. Our first book, STARGIRL is a celebration of nonconformity, Newbery Medalist Jerry Spinelli weaves a tense, emotional tale about the perils of popularity and the thrill and inspiration of first love.
