February 5 is the beginning of the Chinese New Year, a time for loved ones to gather and welcome in the new year’s good fortune.

Children ages 7 and up are invited to come to the Children’s Section to create easy paper fortune cookies to share with friends and family.

Customize your own fortunes: make them fun, make them silly, make them kind, or even make them themed for Valentine’s Day, coming up on Thursday, February 14th!

Younger children are welcome to join, but they must be accompanied and assisted by an adult caregiver.
