November is National Aviation History Month, and to celebrate this, the Ewa Beach Public & School Library will hold a paper airplane contest. Each competitor or team will be provided with two 8.5” x 11” sheets of copy paper. Participants cannot bring their own paper. The library will provide optional materials. The following materials are not required, but may be used if desired:

• One standard paper clip
• Three inches of tape
• A dab of glue

Competitors will have up to 30 minutes to build their planes. The contest will be based on distance (the point where the plane touches the ground – NOT the final resting place). Each competitor will have up to 3 chances to get the best distance.

Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
