Outer Space with Mr. Kneel

Hip-hop emcee Mr. Kneel

Take a trip to “Outer Space” with Mr. Kneel and explore the limits of our collective Sci-Fi Imaginations! This musical space adventure is part of the 2019 Summer Reading Program “Universe of Stories.” Mr. Kneel is an award winning Hip Hop musician and a former inner-city teacher who has traveled the nation using his beatbox and vocal percussion skill to take his uplifting message of character and self-respect to children.

This 45-minute program is suitable for all ages. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

This event is sponsored by the generosity of the Friends of Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library.

This program is produced by the UH Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.
