In honor of our Hawaiian community and in honor of 2019 being recognized as the International Year of Indigenous Languages, experience the hit Disney film ‘Moana’ as you’ve never heard it before: in the Hawaiian language/ma ka ‘ōlelo Hawai’i! English subtitles will be displayed to ensure accessibility and to promote reading.
Children and their ‘ohana are invited to join us for this fun family event. Light snacks will be provided until supplies run out. Participants are welcome to bring pillows, dry snacks, as well as personal beverages in closed containers. If you have any questions about movie snack appropriateness, please inquire with Ms. Jen the Children’s Librarian.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or an adult caregiver.
