Mini Space Drum and Drumstick Craft: Summer Reading Celebration

May 11, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

drums and drumstick

This year’s Summer Reading celebrates a Universe of Stories. This year we explore space with stories, crafts and activities.

Make your own mini space drum and drumstick craft with recyclable material. Participants paint their own tape rolls using foam brushes which are provided by the library. Youngsters trace space stencils to create the cover of the drum. Lastly, drums are decorated to with jewels, beads, pens, crayons, colored pencils and markers to give it that special individual look.

Please be aware that hot glue guns will be used in this craft.

Program is suitable for ages 8 and up.

All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
