Please join us for this session for youth on mindfulness with Lillian Paiva of the Honokaa Ki-Aikido club. During this session young people will be introduced to mindfulness as a tool not only in Aikido but in everyday life.
The Honokaa Ki-Aikido club has been in existence since 1955. We practice Shinshin-Toitsu Aikido which means “mind-body are one”. The art is not about learning to overcome others, but learning how to overcome ourselves. We train to remain calm in all situations and to be aware of all that is around us. To live our life with compassion and self-respect.
Lillian Paiva is the Head Instructor of Honokaa-Ki Aikido. She has been training for over 25 years.
