Parents and guardians are said to be the biggest influence on teens’ choices to drink underage and what they do behind the wheel.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Hawai‘i will share ways to empower parents of teens to have ongoing, intentional conversations about the dangers of underage drinking and marijuana use.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
