Join AARP Hawai‘i for an active discussion for Adults 50+ planning for the unexpected before and after retirement.
Are you prepared for the future? None of us can predict for sure what tomorrow might bring. That’s why it is important to plan — decide what you want, create a plan to get there, and share it with those who need to know.
TOPICS:
- FINANCES: Explore the cost of long-term care and how long you will need it, help you understand what costs may or may not be covered by government programs, and explore private financing strategies. You also will identify resources that can help you create your long-term care plan.
- HEALTH: Discuss a variety of health topics including: family health history, screenings and immunizations, managing medications, brain health, and new healthcare technology. You’ll leave with specific ways and resources to help you make positive health choices.
- LEGAL: Do you have what you need in place to ensure that your wishes are met in the event of an unexpected illness or accident?
- HOME AND COMMUNITY: Gain a better understanding of the features that make both your home and community a place where you can live in comfort and safety — no matter what your life stage
