The Kailua-Kona Public Library is participating in a Library Pen Pal Project with the Osborne Public Library! Keiki 7 through 11 years old are invited to join a focused writing community that will help us forge a positive relationship with the children of Osborne Public Library in Osborne, Kansas.
Through our writing projects, our keiki and Kansas keiki will learn about each other and their respective communities, letter writing skills and etiquette, and the joy of creating and receiving hand-written mail!
The writing focus for January’s meeting will be a collaborative collage project in which we share what we love and what we know about our state of Hawai‘i!
The Library Pen Pal Project is proudly sponsored by the Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.).
If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date.We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations.
