An event every week that begins at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 18, 2019
Every Wednesday at the Honoka`a Public Library we bring out thousands of LEGOs and say, “Let’s go!“
Our LEGO Build Club challenges kids (and adults) of all ages to craft, create, and construct. Start off with one of our leveled challenge cards and stay for free play!
Challenge cards are organized by skill level and provide opportunities to work on problem solving and develop math and physics concepts, fine motor skills, inquiry skills, and hand-eye coordination. A challenge may be as simple as “build something with only four legos” or “build something that starts with the letter B” but may be as complex as “build a challenging maze and ask someone to solve it with a mini action figure – don’t forget dead ends!”
Recommended for ages 3 and up! Always free.
If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events
