Know Your Legal Rights: Senior Legal Issues / Guide to Public Benefits

Scales of Justice

Amy Peria of the Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i, will discuss common legal issues relating to senior citizens. She will also provide some information on public benefits. Amy is an AmeriCorps Advocate in the Access to Justice Room at the Honolulu District Court. She is a recent graduate of the of the University of Hawai`i at Manoa with a B.A. in Political Science, and Philippine Language and Literature. Amy hopes to attend law school and practice immigration and international law in the future. This 45-minute  program is suitable for ages 18 and older.
