Shiver me timbers! September be pirate month, and the Wahiawa Lego Club be shipwrecked on a deserted isle in the middle of the Pacific with naught but a pile of washed up Legos. Without a ship or other useful tools, it’s up to the Lego Club Crew to figure out a way off the island. But heed this warning–if ye should fail, ye and the rest of the Lego Club Crew could sink to the bottom of Davy Jones’ Locker and be lost forever! Arrr ye up for the Island Escape Challenge??
Current limit of 32 participants (eight tables with four chairs). Patrons may dress in pirate garb for this event. RSVP required. Please call the library at 808-622-6345 to reserve your space. Event will be held in Wahiawa Library’s meeting room.
This event is part of the library’s weekly Kids’ Hour on Saturdays starting at 10:00 am. Programming schedule rotates monthly. Kids’ Hour is most appropriate for ages 3 to 10, but all children and families are welcome. Duplos are available for toddlers on request. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
