July 11, 2024 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am

Wildlife Educator, Charles Lee returns  to present Critter Clades!

A group of related animals is called a clade…but there are so many different kinds of creatures on our planet!  How are amphibians different from reptiles?  What makes birds so special?  Critter Clades begins with the difference between invertebrates and vertebrates, before introducing keiki to ways to identify the 5 basic groups of backboned animals: fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals! Sponsored by the Friends of Salt Lake-Moanalua Library.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
