Islam in the West – Is it Compatible?

Islam is that second largest growing religion in the world practiced by a quarter of the world’s population.

Stop by the educational information table between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm at Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library to learn about one of the most misunderstood religions. You will be able to learn more about Islamic culture and topics like Jihad, Shariah, Women in Islam and, most importantly, whether it is compatible with the western way of life. A representative from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Hawaii will be available to answer any questions.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events
