An event every month that begins at 6:00 pm on day First of the month, repeating until February 6, 2018
This FREE entry level class offered by Kauai Makerspace through Kapaa Public Library explores the free, cloud-based OnShape CAD (Computer Aided Design) software. This group meets on the first Tuesday each month (until February 2018) to learn the software and discuss projects.
Taught by retired aerospace engineer, Richard O’Reilly, participants learn how to draw two dimension sketches and create 3D models. You will gain the ability to make your own drawings and materials lists quickly and easily for anything from a bird house or wood shed to whatever you can imagine. This class will also give you the know-how to create your own models for 3D printing.
This is an entry level class designed to be accessible to anyone who has basic familiarity with web browsing and concepts used in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation / desktop publishing and simple graphics programs.
