January 31^st is recognized as “Inspire Your Heart With Art Day”. Tweens and teens ages 10-18 are welcome to join us for ceramic program sponsored by Kilauea Pottery, Hilo. We will be painting ceramic hearts made especially for the library by the Kilauea Pottery Studio. After the ceramics are painted, the library will bring them to the studio for firing.  Please allow one week to receive your heart back from the studio’s kiln firing procedure.  Space is limited and registration is required. This program is free and all materials required will be supplied by the library. Please contact the library 15 days in advance to request special accommodations or a sign language interpreter.
