Under the direction of Kumu Kaui Nakamura, the halau of over 30 dancers recently won first place for their mixed (male and female) dance at the Kupuna Hula Festival in Keauhou.  Many of their hulas express their love and devotion to local places in North Kohala. Come to the library and enjoy them, including dances about the beauty of Pololu, Honomaka’u, and Paliakamoa.

In the event of inclement weather, the performance will take place on July 29 at 6:00 pm.
