The Hawaii Preparatory Academy Middle School Handbell Choir, under the direction of Georgia Polakova, will present a free holiday performance for the community at Thelma Parker Memorial Public Library on Thursday, December 12 at 3 p.m.
Polakova, who is retiring after 40 years at HPA, is the founder and beloved director of the handbell choir, which has been part of the HPA Middle School experience since 1985. The choir currently consists of 10 students who take the semester-long class and present free holiday performance across the island. The performance will be followed by light refreshments, hosted by the Friends of Thelma Parker Memorial Public Library.
If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodations due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events.
