HOW TO WRITE YOUR FAMILY HISTORY

June 29, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Family tree

All families have a history, an interesting history, a history that will die unless YOU undertake the research, writing and publishing of that history.

Learn how one family undertook the task and created a book that generations from now will read through and be able to trace their ancestries back to 3 brothers who emigrated from Japan and settled in Honolulu at the turn of the 20th century; stories of murder, war, financial boons and disasters, struggles and triumphs.

Presented by Allen Awaya, editor of From Kaminoseki to Honolulu with Nathan Yoshizaki
