(CANCELLED) – Hi`ohia Publishing Presents Aloha Ko`olauloa

March 25, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

hawaiian man and woman standing in a wave

The perpetuation of mo’olelo is the aim of Hi’ohia Publishing. Their new book series, Aloha Ko’olauloa featuring eight ancient Hawaiian legends from the Ko’olauloa district of O’ahu, is the second project from Hi’ohia. Like their first series Ka’ena Aloha, set in the Wai’anae Moku, all the talent and support is from the local community. These books are offered in English and ‘Olelo Hawai’i.

Ka’iulani Kauihou, the creator of this series will be here to share the inspiration gained from revitalizing these nearly forgotten stories from the ancestors.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events
