This training session will prepare volunteers to work one to one with adults who want to improve their reading and writing. We will review and discuss the components of literacy as well as explore and practice strategies for working with adults. Attendees will be qualified volunteer for Hawaii Literacy or CALC (Computer Assisted Learning Center at Hilo Public Library).
