The second Thursday of every month, the Honoka`a Library hosts the Hamakua Friends of the Library Book Club.

Open to all, this meeting will discuss Isabella Bird’s Six Months in the Sandwich Isles.  This book follows Isabella Bird as she travels on horseback throughout the Hawaiian Islands in the late 19th century.
