Graphic Novel Talk Story

August 3, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Join us to talk story about graphic novels! For teens and above. Enjoy a civil discussion moderated by Kelly, Young Adult Librarian. No signup required. August 3, 2019 is our first meeting. Bring your favorite graphic novel that you have read to discuss! For more information, please contact Mililani Public Library.

  • What is considered a graphic novel?
Manga or trade paperbacks are eligible.
  • What are we reading?
Any manga or comic book that you feel is within the genre of what we decide on in the meeting. Reading the whole series is not necessary!
  • How do I find what to read?
Contact Kelly or anyone at the Information Desk to help you search!
  • How will we decide what to read next?
We will draw a genre from a box at the end of each meeting! Kelly will have suggested titles corresponding to the genre pulled.
  • What if I’m new to the world of graphic novels?
Come one, come all! All levels of fans welcome!
  • What if I don’t like what I read?
That’s okay! Your thoughts are just as important as those who liked what they read.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events.
