Furoshiki : alternative gift wrapping workshop

November 28, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

| Free
3 wrapped gifts using a furoshiki cloth

Help make the holiday season greener by practicing an eco-craft borrowed from the Japanese.  Learn to use a square fabric (furoshiki) to wrap a variety of gifts of different sizes and shapes.  The wrapper becomes part of the gift and can be reused later.  Evelyn Nakamura, local eco-crafter will teach this workshop.

Program schedule is subject to change.  Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
