Create and take home your very own garden gnome!  Have fun while you develop your painting skills using acrylics.  All the paints, brushes, surfaces and embellishments will be provided without any cost to you.

For the beginner – Create a gnome with your own combination of hats, eyes and other facial features while you learn to care for your brushes, how to transfer your design and make a color palette.

For more advanced painters, practice skills above and learn to paint a whimsical or lifelike beard, stencil, float shading and highlights and dry brush, to give a 3-D effect and make your painting come alive.

This project is adult and child friendly!  Young children (must be over 5 yrs) must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.  Registration recommended, please call the library 808-259-2610. Sponsored by Oahu Decorative Painters.
